Swikriti Poudel

Mrs Swikriti Poudel, Practice Manager

Bachelor of Business Administration

Master of Professional Accounting

Swikriti Poudel brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to her role as Practice Manager. She holds a Master of Professional Accounting and a , reflecting her strong academic foundation in business and management.

 

Originally from the beautiful land of mountains, Nepal, Swikriti graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2016. Driven by her kindness and passion for helping people, she transitioned into the medical field in 2017 and has been dedicated to making a positive impact ever since.

 

In 2022, Swikriti moved to Canberra and became an integral part of our team. She is a true team player who ensures the smooth operation of the clinic by delivering high-quality service and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

 

Outside of work, Swikriti enjoys evening walks with her husband, hiking, catching up with family overseas via video calls, spending time with friends, and exploring new destinations.

Wendy Sykes

Ms Wendy Sykes, Senior Medical Receptionist

Wendy joined Canberra Hand Centre in 2023 and brings a wonderfully diverse background in music, education, and business management.


Originally from the UK, Wendy worked as a primary school teacher before moving to Australia. Her passion for music led her to specialise in music education and performance, and after settling in Canberra in 2015, she transitioned into medical administration.


Wendy is proud to have received her Australian citizenship in 2025—a milestone that means a lot to her. Outside of work, she enjoys playing a variety of musical instruments, getting lost in a good book, staying active at the gym, and taking long walks with her West Highland White Terrier, Daisy.


Wendy loves connecting with patients and being part of a caring, supportive team at Canberra Hand Centre.

Rey Wilson

Ms Rey Wilson, Medical Receptionist

Studying Animal Care Services at CIT

Rey joined Canberra Hand Centre in 2023, beginning her professional journey after completing high school. She brings a warm, curious, and organised approach to her role - engaging patients with genuine conversation, ensuring smooth and efficient appointment bookings, and proactively supporting the team to deliver exceptional care.

Outside of work, Rey enjoys exploring new worlds through books, solo travelling, and caring for foster dogs with the RSPCA, ACT Rescue and Foster, Integra Service Dogs Australia and Guide Dogs Australia, helping animals find their forever homes and socialising with them.
